The PC Health Advisor About (i) page contains important information about your product. On this page you can also check for product updates and register, renew or remove your license key.
 
To view the About (i) page, do the following:
 
From the Main window, click the (i) button located at the top right of the window.
The items listed in the About page include your product version, registration information, and de-registration controls.
 
Registration and De-Registration
 
The section at the bottom of the About page displays registration information and De-Registration controls. 
 
Renewing Your License Key
 
If your license is about to expire you can renew it. You will need an Internet connection to renew your license.
 
To renew your license key:
 
1. From the Main window, select the (i) button at the top right.
2. Click the Renew button. Your Internet browser will open.
3. Follow the steps as directed.
4. Exit the program.
5. Launch PC Health Advisor, select the (i) button in the Main window and check the Subscription date to verify the license is new.
 
If you renew your license while there is time remaining on your previous registration, the time is appended accordingly.
 
Buying Extra Licenses
 
You can also purchase new licenses that you can use to run PC Health Advisor on other computers.
 
To buy extra license keys:
 
1. From the Main window, select the (i) button at the top right.
2. Click the Buy Extra Licenses button. An Internet browser will open.
3. Follow the steps as directed.
 
De-Registration
 
There are situations that arise where it is to your advantage to un-register PC Health Advisor. In the case where you are migrating to a new computer or rebuilding your computer to use a fresh or new operating system you would want to use the Dehost feature.
 
To dehost your license key, do the following:
 
1. From the Main window, select the (i) button at the top right.
2. Click the Dehost button located at the bottom of the window.
3. In the confirmation dialog, click Yes.
 
There are certain situations where you need to Unlicense the product so as to retain some host information. For example, in the case where your license has expired and you have purchased a new one, you will need to begin by Unlicensing the program so you can enter the new key.
 
To unlicense the product, do the following:
 
1. From the Main window, select the (i) button at the top right.
2. Click the Unlicense button located at the bottom of the window.
3. In the confirmation dialog, click Yes.
 
Updates
 
Throughout the lifetime of your subscription, you receive free product updates. By default PC Health Advisor performs automatic checks for updates when you start your system. You can customize the Update Summary options to configure scheduled update times if you prefer.
 
To change the program update options:
 
1. From the Main window, click the (i) button located at the top right of the window.
Click the Update Options... button.
2. Choose Auto Update, Custom Update or Disable Update
3. Modify the settings to your specifications then click Save.
 
Auto or Custom Updates
 
You can set PC Health Advisor to check for updates automatically within a one week period or you can create a Custom update where you select one or more days of the week and the time of the update.

 

To configure Auto updates:
 
1. From the Main window, click the (i) button located at the top right of the window.
2. Click the Update Options... button.
3. Select the Auto Update option.
 
To configure Custom updates:
 
1. From the Main window, click the (i) button located at the top right of the window.
2. Click the Update Options... button.
3. Select the Custom Update option.
4. Modify the settings.
