As a safety precaution, PC Health Advisor automatically creates a restore point before items are fixed. If you are unhappy with a change made by the scan, it is easy to restore to right before that change was made. You can also create restore points or remove existing ones.

Create a Restore Point

You can manually create a restore point at any time. Please note that Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 only allow the creation of one restore point per day.

To create a Restore Point manually within PC Health Advisor

1. Click the Disk tab along the top of the main page of PC Health Advisor, and then click the Restore Point Manager button.
2. Click the Create Restore Point button.
3.
Click OK in the confirmation dialog.

Restore

With the Restore Point Manager, you can restore your computer using one of the restore points that are listed. You can also remove some of the checkpoints to free up disk space.

We recommend that you use caution when restoring your system as it can affect the functionality of your software. Use this feature only when you need to restore to a previous working state.

Remove Restore Points

We recommend saving at least one good restore point in case your computer system experiences failures or issues.
