Adjusting Edge settings in Digital Care

Deleting saved passwords and login information does increase the safety of your information. However, it is not a critical security step, and generally can be disabled safely.

These steps should prevent the removal of this information from Microsoft Edge:
 
Modification of the Junk Scan
 
1. Open Digital Care AntiVirus Complete program
~ Log in if prompted to
2. Click Performance along the far left
3. Click Junk Files Cleaning
4. To the Right you will see Scan Extensions; Please click the X next to
~ .log
~ .temp
~ .tmp

Please Note that changes are saved automatically
 
Modification of the Privacy Scans
 
Internet Scan
 
1. Click Privacy along the far left
2. Click Privacy Scan
3. Click Settings to the Right of Internet Scan
4. Click the White Arrow to the left of Internet Browsing History
5. Click the White Arrow to the left of Internet Explorer
6. Uncheck Cache of Temporary Files
7. Scroll down and click the White Arrow to the left of Microsoft Edge
8. Uncheck Cache of Temporary Files
9. Click the Blue Okay Button
 
Windows Scan

1. Click Settings to the Right of Windows Scan
2. Click the White Arrow to the left of Windows Cache & History
3. Click the White Arrow to the left of Windows Entries
4. Scroll down and Uncheck the following:
~ Windows Log Files
~ Windows Temp Folder
5. Click the Blue Okay Button
 
System Scan
 
1. Click Settings to the Right of System Scan
2. Click the White Arrow to the left of Internet Browsing History
3. Click the White Arrow to the left of Internet Explorer
4. Uncheck Cache of Temporary Files
5. Scroll down and click the White Arrow to the left of Microsoft Edge
6. Uncheck Cache of Temporary Files
7. Scroll down and click the White Arrow to the left of Windows Cache & History
8. Click the White Arrow to the left of Windows Entries
9. Scroll down and Uncheck the following:
~ Windows Log Files
~ Windows Temp Folder
10. Click the Blue Okay Button
