There are certain operating system privileges that you inherit when you are assigned to a user group for your computer system. Many current Windows operating systems have built-in groups. Membership to a group gives you rights and abilities to perform various tasks.
Data Recovery Pro supports administrator rights. Users with Limited User status cannot run the application. In these situations you will need administrator credentials.
If you are experiencing difficulties with using the full functionality of this program or if you are receiving error messages relating to privileges, you need to log off and log on as an administrator to the operating system. You can do this from the Windows Start button.
For more information on user groups and user group assignment, refer to your operating system help information.
Some experienced users have their computers set up so that more than one account is created. Fast User Switching is the process available on some Windows operating systems whereby a user begins the log off process and selects the Switch User option. The next user can then log on quickly to their account and desktop settings without having to restart the computer.
